Happy New Year!

For Overtaal, the highlight of 2008 was the takeover by TransPerfect in May. Since then, we have officially been a ‘TransPerfect company’, and as such we are now part of a global language service provider with offices on four continents.

There was strong growth in Overtaal’s Language Training activities in 2008 and the business unit naturally intends to continue this trend. The Translations business unit also experienced constant growth, with a large number of new customers. New contracts added substantially to the workload of the Localisation business unit and European Parliament contracts meant significant growth in EU Translations business unit. This growth will undoubtedly continue in 2009.

In the year to come, we will once again be offering a rapid service for precise translations, customised language training and made-to-measure editing services.
