Languages
Around 6,900 languages are currently spoken in the world today, including some with only a handful of native speakers. So it would be somewhat pretentious to claim that Overtaal can translate to or from any language. You can, however, certainly turn to us for the most common languages. We can usually also be of assistance with some of the less common ones.
Our in-house translators cover an impressive range of modern languages, including Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Modern Greek and Chinese. For other languages, we turn to our network of external translators.

In 2007, we translated a 100-page English-language text for a government agency into all the official EU languages (i.e. German, French, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Bulgarian, Rumanian, Polish, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Maltese, Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian). For this project, we created a team of around 30 internal and external translators, managed by one of our project managers.
