Overtaal employs computer-aided translation (CAT) tools, such as Trados Workbench and TagEditor. These tools make it possible to develop translation memories for both single customers and groups of related customers. New texts are initially analysed using the existing memory, enabling us to see what has or has not been translated before.
This improves consistency of style and terminology in translations, and can also save you a good deal of money.

The number of translation tools available on the market is increasing. For example, Google recently developed the online tool 'Google Translate'. At Overtaal, we applaud such developments, because as long as machines produce sentences like ‘Go in the search for a good agency would rather not have a hurried?’ human intervention will remain necessary. If you ask us, the best solution is to use both man and machine.
